Just call our family pinky! We all have pink eye, including little Avery! Can you believe it? Cole got it about a week ago when Avery was 1 week old. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night to feed Avery and my eye was all gross, both of them! So, here we are, a new family of 4, and we all have pink eye (Phil feels his eyes are getting it ;)).... I also have a terrible cold, and so does Cole! We both have an awful cough, sore throat, and just feel plain lousy.
Sorry baby girl that your first few weeks home have been awful! Hope you don't get our nasty cold.
Grama and Grandpap (Grammy and Papap) have been our saviors! We are so lucky to have them around and to help us! Honestly, I don't know what we would do with out them! They have gone above and beyond what any parents should have to do. But boy, we need/needed the help! It is so great to have wonderful parents, and parents that put their kids before anything else. Since I had Avery - I'm not sure my dad or mom have worked a full day of work yet! They have been there to grab us lunch, watch Cole, hold Avery, take Cole outside to play, make us dinner, let us nap...the list could go on and on..... I called my mom this morning crying because I had double pink eye and just feel so defeated, all I want to do is cuddle my newborn, and I'm afraid to, afraid she will get sick; and without hesitation my mom was here all day helping me with both kids, doing our laundry, helping with Cole & Avery, and making sure I could some sleep. She even went with me to take both kids to the doctors, and that is a huge task in itself!

Avery and Cole - I sure hope I am able to help you as much as my parents have helped us. I hope to be just like them!
On a side note - Avery got weighed today at the doctors - she is 7lbs 2ozs (she is 2weeks and 2 days old!)
