Baltimore Part 1 - Port Discovery Museum

Phil had to book vacation for the remainder of the year by Sept. 15th so he took random Fridays off to spend with us :).. We decided to make something of one of he vacation days and go to Baltimore for 2 days. Phil researched and planned us the most fantastic mini vaca ever! We had a nice hotel room, that had 2 rooms so Cole could have his own, and planned fun events for us!

We arrived Friday around 11am and went to the Port Discovery Museum for their Bob the Builder display! Cole absolutely loves Bob the Builder, so we thought this was perfect, and boy were we right! He loved it! He loved the freedom that he had in the museum to run around, and loved seeing all Bob the Builder characters!

Life size Bob the Builder came out at one point and Cole freaked! He was so excited that he screamed "Bob Bob!" and ran right to him for a hug! He then followed Bob around! Bob had a stalker :)

There were other stations as well that he enjoyed visiting :) we had a great time and I already want to go back!

After the Museum we walked around Baltimore and enjoyed lunch, had a sangria and then checked into our hotel room. We tried to put Cole down for a nap, but he had no interest in it at all. After the failure of a nap, we walked around a bit more, checked out a wine store, bought some wine, sat at the harbor and watched ducks and then ordered a pizza to go and ate it in the hotel room.

We had tickets to the Baltimore aquarium for 7:30 PM - way past Cole's bedtime, but it was $5 dollar Friday! We couldn't pass up those ticket prices since they are normally 25 per person! It was PACKED! but we did enjoy walking around.

Here are pictures of Bob the Builder display! More to come on the remainder of our trip :)

Giving Wendy a hug :)
