Randomness & Mashed Potatoes

Cole is still protesting nap time. Today we decided to do our errands first thing in the morning and try to get home around 1:30 and just do an afternoon nap to see if we were successful.

Well, off we went at 8:30 in the morning to start our day. We went to the Outlets since they have the 30% off coupon online for GAP, Banana Republic and Old Navy. Phil and I enjoyed some coffee at starbucks while Cole snacks on some berry bread.

We then went to Banana Republic to shop. He was getting pretty fussy (and this boy loves to shop!) so I told Phil we had to hurry up and get him home, so I went into the dressing room - left Cole in the stroller with Phil. By the time I came out (just had to try on 2 sweaters) he was asleep!!!!!!!!!!!! This was at 9:50am!!!!.

So, hoping to hold off until 1:30pm was a failure! We decided to leave him sleeping and continued our shopping spree - he woke up around 10:30 when we were in Gap.

We got home from shopping around 1:00pm, fed Cole lunch, let him play and then put him down for his afternoon nap. He screamed for about 35 minutes but then fell asleep. Phil and I were cheering and so excited that he was napping in his crib. Well, that victory soon ended 20 minutes later when he woke up screaming.

Naps are over rated.

Tonight Cole had cheesy mashed potato's and broccoli for the first time. At first he enjoyed it, and then after about 5 bites started gagging. We were cracking up because his gagging was sooo cute! He finally got fed up and as you will see in the picture below how he reacted to his last few bites....

These are Yummy!!!!

Okay mom, I've had enough - stop feeding me!
I'm going to......
Explode!! BLAH!!!!

I told you I didn't like them Mom ;)
Oh we were laughing so hard! We had tears in our eyes!!!!!!!!
Here are pictures from earlier today/a few days ago - we have been really slacking on pictures lately :(

Watching Daddy do dishes!

His new toy! (We couldn't' wait until Christmas to give it to him)

Drinking Whole Milk for the first time - He wasn't a big fan - (Our Pedi told us to try giving him some when he was 10/11 months old - we decided to try it tonight - we are going to wait to give him any more until he is at least a yr old - I'm to scared he will have stomach problems from it)

Love this boy so much!
