On Friday, April 20th, my Dad picked the kids up from school to have a special Grandpap afternoon. My mom decided to tag along too! The kids really enjoy these moments, and I wish i was there to see Cole and Avery's face when my dad came to pick them up!
It's a big task to pick up the kids at school. All of their sleeping bags, pillows, lunch boxes, extra clothes, sippy cups, and them in tow. It's a difficult task, but my dad does it with no fear, and often never forgets a thing :)
The kids had a great time, and Phil and I enjoyed the peace and quiet car ride home and the luxury of going straight home and not picking them up at school!
Dinner was ready when the kids got in, and it was a wonderful relaxing night with them.
I know Cole and Avery will always cherish these day. :) Thanks for being amazing grandparents mom and dad!!!
(PS. don't worry - my dad didn't forget Avery's pants at school. Her skirt kept falling down so i guess my mom and dad thought it was appropriate for her to walk around pant less :) - only grandparents can get away with that!)
