She weighs 12 ozs. I have my 20 week OB appt on Thursday and from there we will see what the heartbeat is, and also my weight gain. At my 16 week appt I was only up 4 lbs.. I think I gained about 4 lbs since the last visit - but I think I can blame it on my belly finally popping (oh, and the snickers, cookies, trail mix, hershey bars, cake, ice cream) I def. have a sweet tooth with this pregnancy and I can't ignore it. With Cole I was able to fight it off, with this one, no way - i try but I can't, it's an addiction - this girl sure knows what she wants!
We are so excited, and are excited to meet her when she is fully developed and ready to come into this world.. Now onto preparing her room, Cole, and ourselves for this new addition!
Now that I'm slowly starting to get my energy back, I'll try to update the blog more often :)
Cole Update:
Cole had his 15 month appt in the beginning of the month. He is doing great and right on target with everything. He is in the 80% for height, 70% for weight and of course 99% for head... What a smart boy we have :)... He is 26 lbs, 31 inches long.. BIG BOY!! He is so fun tho. He is picking up words left and right and I have stopped counting how many words he can say - he can say pretty much anything you say and ask him to say. He is really getting down the please and thank you. I love how he comes up to me or Phil and says "help please" when he wants this little tin can open, or the block bag unzipped so he can pour on the ground.
He loves to say HI! When we are out shopping he says hi to about everyone. It is cute, but I'm sure people don't always love it!
He loves Fridays when mommy goes to target and gets the decaf vanilla latte! He gets to have some lemon loaf - his favorite! He says YUM as soon as i start ordering until the last piece in his mouth - that is our splurging for the week and bad food he gets!
He loves nudey time! Loves running around at night with nothing on, and just gets soo excited. Nudey nudey nudey time :) My sweet baby!
He has dropped down to 1 nap :( .. He goes down around 11:30/12, and sleeps for 2 hours. But sometimes he still needs two naps - i'm letting the captain sail his own ship here and let me know what is going on, and we just follow his lead :)
I think i've said it a million times on this blog- but gosh that kid brings so much joy to my life I can't even explain it. I love him so much - and hope every mother out there enjoys their child as much as I enjoy Cole, and that every kid brings the joys that he brings! It is truly a wonderful gift and makes every day so rewarding!
