Cole's Going to be a.....

BIG BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!

On 1/4/10 I took a pregnancy test, the test came out with a faint faint line and I did not believe it! So I went on with my day, not mentioning anything to Phil... The next morning I woke up (around 5:45am!!) and took a test right away... The line was a bit darker, but I still did not believe it. Cole was starting to wake up and cry, so I went to go get him - As I was leaving the room, Phil asked what I was doing and I said just going to get something. I went in and got Cole's "Big Brother" shirt that we have had for awhile, and put it on him....

I walked in the room and turned the lights on (Of course I told Phil to watch his eyes!) Phil was trying to wake up and saw me staring there with tears in my eyes thinking something was wrong - he then saw Cole wearing the big brother t-shirt, and finally said "You're pregnant?!" my response was "I think so!"....

On 1/14/10 we shared the news to my parents at lunch "Slice it up"... Mom and Dad are headed to Vegas at the end of the month - and I wanted to catch them both off guard (after going back and forth with Phil on not sure if I want to tell them until we had a good doctors appt), but I gave in with my excitement... I asked mom and dad about their trip they plan on going on at the end of the month - and then said "It's ashame you are going to Vegas" my dad looked at me and said "why!" and my response was "Because you are going to miss the first ultrasound!" It took my mom a bit to figure it out and then they were just thrilled!

My first dr. appt was on 1/25/10....The appt went great, I saw the Dr. that delivered Cole..The first thing he said when he walked into the room is - "So I have a note from your delivery with Cole - so we aren't going to let you have more than a 7lb baby this time around"... After a nice visit Dr. Anthopolus gave me a script to get an ultrasound to date the pregnancy!

We had the first ultrasound on 2/2/10! What a great day it was, we got to see Baby #2's heartbeat :) and hear it, it was 164...I do have to admit, it wasn't as exciting as seeing Cole's.. I hope i get some excitement for this pregnancy soon (sorry baby #2!)

We had another ultrasound on 3/1/10 and the baby looked great! The heartbeat was 160! We decided since i'm 12 weeks to go ahead and tell people, a little bit in me wanted to wait until I was 14 or 16 weeks, but eh, oh well!

So that is the news, that is why i've been soooo super duper lazy! I've been busy growing a baby - and too busy to upload pictures and write on Cole's blog!

by the way - just putting it out there - I think this one will be another boy!!
