First I'll say - there will be no pictures with this post :) ... I've just been so lazy and tired.. I really need to get out of this funk and pick back up on blogging, I love reading through and looking at the pictures of him and I'll really regret my lazy days. So please someone inspire me to stop being so lazy!!!
Cole is becoming such a wonderful little boy! He is no longer a baby! He has mastered walking! And is "talking" up a storm. He is saying Trucks, Go (Ooooo!), Ci Ci, Ma, Hot, No, No, NO! and just jibber jabbers! My favorite time of the day is when we drive into work, he is so chatty in the back of the car just talking away - and then all of a sudden you hear "truck", and he keeps on jabbering. It is sooo sweet!
My kid still hates shoes and socks - I blame this on Grama, who has a baby toe fetish. So, he always is kicking off his shoes and taking his socks off whenever he can. Every time we get out of the car it is a process to find he shoes and socks. Most of the time his socks are wet from him shoving it into his mouth and trying to say LA LA LA with them in.. Gosh i love him and his craziness.
He sure has a personality - and I'm thinking we are going to have some temper and anger problems with this child.. Don't worry I'll be on top of it.
One thing we have cut back on this 14 month of his life is eating out - not because of $$$ but because my child likes to scream on the top of his lungs - not crying - just likes to scream. I'm sure the people around us don't find this funny and I know it stresses me out - so we have cut back a ton on this!
Cole did great with the transition from formula to milk. We tried the transition when he was almost 1 and it didnt' go well, he was a gassy miserable baby. So around 13 months we just went cold turkey with the milk and he did great! No turning back - wow, a big accomplishment, HA i'm kidding - but it is nice to not have to mix formula! :)
Well, that is all for tonight! Hopefully we will have more to post about soon and I'll get some pictures up! Just with work, life, it has been pretty hard, but I'll try not to have anymore excuses.

- Phil & I met in college, and have been together since 2002. We got married on May 19, 2007, and found out we were expecting our first child in April. Cole Nicholas Shoemaker was born on 12/29/08. On January 7th we found out we were expecting our second child. Avery Kate Shoemaker was born on August 30th, 2010. On Feb. 3rd 2013 we found out we were expecting again! We are due early October with our last baby :) Our family is complete :)
