Morning of our trip!! Can't wait to go to Cape May!
So here, we are.. we arrived at our house, unloaded the car and set up Cole's station.. Take a look at Cole's face.. It will tell you all! We left our house around 1:30pm after Phil got home from work, and Marci and Stix (Dustin) arrived. The ride was pretty smooth, no traffic, no screaming from Cole, it was peaceful (although he didn't sleep much) We arrive in Cape May, and per the directions we are 2 mins from the house we rented. (I rented the house, did a random search online, and booked it! I've been so busy lately that me doing that, is sooo not like me, normally i spend weeks looking and not being able to make up my mind)
So.. we pull into "2nd Street" ... Umm, it was NOTHING like the pictures! I was scared out of my mind! The houses had mold growing on them, trailors in the side yards, it just looked awful and dirty.. I looked at Phil and told him we are either going home, or getting a hotel room, I refused to stay there....Before we decided on what to do, I wanted to double check to make sure Phil put in the right address. This was the first time ever I was so happy that the address was wrong. Mapquest populated 2nd Street, but we were staying on 2nd Ave! THANK YOU GOD! I was sooooooooo excited. We plugged in 2nd Ave in our Tom Tom and went on our way. The areas started to look nicer, you could smell the beach. I was thrilled! We pull onto second Ave and were looking for 312.... On the left the houses were 200, on the right 300.. We kept driving - the house numbers did not change! And the houses looked like a neighbordhood, not a beach rental area - again, i was thinking, lets get a hotel room! We are going to look so weird unpacking our stuff in a neighborhood of non rentals! We pulled over and didn't know what to do! Luckily Stix and Marci's Tom Tom found ANOTHER 2nd Avenue! 3rd one has to be the right one.. right?
As we were pulling away Phil was saying how he bets Cole peed through. He put his hand in the back and felt the car seat - you hear Phil say "YUP! He peed through, Damnit!" he pulled his hand back up front, and I looked at it, and said "that's not pee!" His hand was full of poop!!!!!! UGH!!!! Great! Well we keep driving, and I turn around to check on Cole! Oh my gosh, you don't even want to know what I saw. There Cole was, covered HEAD to TOE!, Car seat covered, and my baby picking it up and EATING IT!!!!!!!! Needless to say I panicked, started to cry, and made Phil pull over right away - I didn't care where we were. I got out of the car and hurried to get Cole out of his car seat. We had to pretty much give him a bath using his wipes.. It was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!
After we cleaned him off we placed him in his car seat with nothing on! He looked like a sumo wrestler in his little car! Poor baby! So, we went on our merry old way to try to find the house for the 3rd time! We finallyf ound the house and it was real cute! We had a great time! When we got there, we stayed in and the boys went out to get us dinner. Cole slept great the first night, he woke up at 7am!! On Saturday we walked around Cape May, went to Breakfast at Uncle Bill's. Cole had some Pancakes that he shared with Phil :) After breakfast we went to the beach and spent an hour there. We had such a nice time, it was so nice and cool out. We then went to the little town and walked around! What a great time!
On Sunday our friends left and Grama and Grandpap came up! We went to the cape may zoo, and cole LOVED IT! He loved looking at the anmials, i think he liked the monkeys and the snakes the best! He spent lots of time in grandpaps arms and looking wherever grandpap pointed. It was soo cute! He is growing up :(

After the zoo, we went back to the house, we had the house until Monday mid morning, but Phil and I decided to head home, Cole did not sleep well the night before because his 2 front teeth were coming in. So we headed home, got home around 8:30 and he slept so well. I think he missed his crib :)
He loves him some bath time!
Cole has a real bad diaper rash (I think from teething!) So we let him play in the nude for about 20 mins tonight.. He loved it!!
But he didn't like me taking pictures of it! Can you tell in his face! It is like he is saying "Mom! Stop it! You will haunt me forever with these pictures! You will probably dispaly these on my wedding day!"
Love you sweet baby... more than words will ever be able to describe......
