So you ask, What has sweet Cole been up to this month since he will be 8 months old tomorrow? Let me tell you what he has been up to!! (if i can even remember!)
He has been doing wonderful with his Physical Therapy! He is getting much stronger and so very close to crawling.
He is using his pincher skills so well, and eating puffs and little foods all by himself! He is so good! We just ordered him a "Tot Collar" i did a quick search on it since we will be getting it on Tuesday - and this is what it looks like (side note: this is not my child in the picture!): Interesting!
We have taken 400 pictures this month (it included a wedding and also a party at work :) So not ALL of it is of cole, but most of it is!)
He is loving people food. His favorite are little oranges.. I gave him a few bites of mashed potato's and he loves it, until they get cold. I am loving the fact that he likes people food, that means I can now order from the kids menu, and that makes me sooo excited! i always just want to order off the kids menu, but the silly age limit of 10 or 12 an under gets me every time. I think the last time i ordered a kids menu (besides a fast food place i.e. Chik-Fil-a!) was when I had my tonsils out and my dad pleaded with the waiter to allow me to order mac and cheese off the menu!
Anyways- its a glorious month because for the next 12 years mommy gets to eat off the kids menu!! YIPPIEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cole's favorite toy right now is a keyboard.. yes, all the toys he has, Phil and my dad got out an older keyboard, cut off the cords, and that is the toy that Cole can play with all day long! Silly boy!
he is rolling like crazy and scooting - look at the places i find him in :)
He has moved up to size 4 diapers, yes, my *almost* 8 month old is wearing the size of a diaper that you put on toddlers, who knows what we will do when he is older, maybe have to buy some depends??
he is in 18-24 month old clothes, and they are getting tight on him :(
Did I mention he is sooooooo cute?
He is getting such a personality. he gets frustrated real easily, likes to scream into some of his toys, and crys or gets fussy when you leave the room and he is by himself.
He crys when I sing to him… :(
cole went to his first baptism for his girlfriend (and my goddaughter) Anderson Grace! He was such a good boy, and Anderson is just so beautiful!
We try to get him to crawl by putting the bottle in front of him far enough away that he can't reach it :)..
I love me some naked baby!
We went to Dottie's memorial Party - We miss her so much :( cole is with his great grandma - "Mommom!"
I will update tomorrow after hsi 8 month old birthday party :) I will do much better updating this blog because I found this site:It will put this entire blog, and ALL my pictures in order and publish it into a book! I will publish it when he is 1, and then publish one every 6 months or a year afterwards! I'm sooo excited!!!!!!!!
Go ahead, check out the site - it might inspire you to keep a blog! I sure wish I had one of me when I was a baby ;)! I even wish I kept one while in college - it would help me with my awful memory!
Well, I'm going to enjoy the last few mins i probably have of peacefulness before my sweet boy wakes up!
